Aqara at CES 2025: New Smart Home Displays, Sensors and Hubs

Aqara, a global IoT leader, unveiled a range of innovative smart home solutions at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, designed to provide a seamless and intuitive user experience.

New smart displays and switches

Highlights include new displays that replace conventional light switches and provide central smart home control:

• Panel Hub S1 Plus US: This device has a 6.9-inch touchscreen and controls up to two connected lights plus wireless devices such as cameras, door locks, thermostats and curtains. It also acts as a Zigbee hub and Matter bridge for Aqara Zigbee devices.
• Touchscreen Dial V1 US: A compact rotary controller with a 1.32-inch touchscreen for precise control of lighting, thermostats and blinds.
• Touchscreen Switch S100: This smart switch combines physical buttons with a 1.3-inch touchscreen and supports Thread, Wi-Fi and Matter.

Aqara also unveiled the new smart switches Light Switch H2 US and Dimmer Switch H2 US which work without a neutral wire and come in several configurations.

Advanced sensors for a smarter home

Aqara is expanding its portfolio with new sensors:

• Presence Multi-Sensor FP300: A battery-powered device with five sensors (PIR, mmWave, light, temperature and humidity) for precise presence detection and automated lighting.
• Climate Sensor W100: This sensor supports Thread and Zigbee and has a display for room temperature and humidity. Three programmable buttons control connected devices, including thermostats.

New hubs for better connectivity

Two new hubs expand smart home connectivity:

• Hub M100: A compact hub supporting Wi-Fi, Thread and Zigbee that serves as a Thread border router and Matter bridge for Aqara Zigbee devices.
• Doorbell Camera Hub G410: This video doorbell improves both home security and connectivity.

These innovations underline Aqara’s commitment to intuitive, future-ready smart home solutions. Some devices shown were US versions and will reach Europe in adapted EU variants.
