The FRITZ!Smart Energy 250 power sensor records the current consumption data from your digital electricity meter and makes it available for analysis via the FRITZ!App Smart Home. This gives you a detailed overview of your household's energy consumption, allowing you to identify energy guzzlers and thus save electricity.
Connect digital electricity meter to FRITZ!Smart Energy 250
The FRITZ!Smart Energy 250 is attached to the optical interface of your digital electricity meter and holds itself magnetically. The sensor uses this interface to read the current consumption data and transmits it to your FRITZ!Box, where it is displayed in the FRITZ!App Smart Home.
The device uses DECT wireless technology for the connection, ensuring reliable communication with the FRITZ!Box. Power is supplied either via batteries inside the device or via a USB connection.

Analyze energy consumption at a glance
If desired, the collected data can be analyzed via the free MyFRITZ!Net service. There you can clearly see the meter reading and current power consumption throughout the day. This intuitive display helps you identify potential savings.
Additionally, you can analyze electricity consumption in detail by day, week, month, and year. The energy display on MyFRITZ!Net offers longer storage of consumption data, providing more extensive analysis options.
Check compatibility before buying.
The FRITZ!Smart Energy 250 is compatible with most digital electricity meters in Germany. However, some meter models have inconsistent INFO interfaces (infrared interfaces), preventing data transmission.
A complete list of incompatible electricity meters can be found in the linked document. Page.
