With the new Homematic IP 8-channel underfloor heating controller (HmIP-FALMOT-C8), Homematic IP combines precise regulation, automatic optimisation and flexible operation. The compact controller is the “little brother” of the established 12-channel model and suits both new builds and renovations, whether the heating system uses a heat pump, gas or oil.

Control up to eight underfloor-heating circuits

The Homematic IP controller provides continuously variable regulation of up to eight heating circuits. Together with motorised actuators, it distributes heat evenly throughout the house. It also performs automatic hydraulic balancing, eliminating time-consuming manual adjustment while saving energy.

Flexible control via app, wall thermostat or the device itself

Underfloor heating can be controlled through the Homematic IP app on a phone or tablet, through a wall thermostat in each room, or directly on the device. Its illuminated LC display clearly shows valve positions and status. Wireless communication also makes existing systems easy to retrofit without additional cabling.

Heating and cooling with radiant systems in the smart home

The controller is not limited to winter operation. Combined with a Multi IO Box or switching actuator, it can control circulation pumps and heating systems, allowing the installation to switch between heating and cooling. It therefore supports year-round use of radiant systems.

Simple DIN-rail installation of the Homematic IP 8-channel controller

Plug-in and clamp connections make installation quick and tool-free. The compact controller mounts directly on a DIN rail and takes up little space in the distribution cabinet.

Compatible actuators and wall thermostats are required. A Home Access Point is optional because the controller and thermostats can connect directly via Push-to-Pair. Without an Access Point, however, app control and smart-home integration are unavailable.
