New security solutions as a central focus
A key focus is on expanding the security portfolio. Homematic IP presents a comprehensive, networked alarm system that combines various components such as sensors, sirens, cameras, and access control solutions.
New additions to the portfolio include Indoor and outdoor cameras, which extend the system with integrated video surveillance and can be directly integrated into the Homematic IP app. Users can access live video and audio at any time to see and hear what is happening in their home, even remotely.
The security and access control system is complemented by a new Homematic IP video doorbell. It allows residents to see and speak to visitors via their smartphone – regardless of whether they are at home or away. A notification automatically appears in the Homematic IP app when the doorbell rings.

The light bulbs can be easily inserted into existing light fixtures and then controlled via the Homematic IP app or integrated into scenes and automations. This is intended to make getting started with intelligent lighting control particularly straightforward.

Another part of the new product range concerns operation and control in the smart home. Here, eQ-3 is expanding its product range with additional features. Control elements and automation devices, which allow functions such as lighting, shading or security features to be centrally controlled.
